Just a few more days to go before Aishwarya Rai Bachchan makes her 11th red carpet appearance at the famed Cannes International Film Festival.
While this year's appearance is much awaited -- this will be her first major red carpet event since giving birth to her daughter in November -- everyone has their eyes glued on what she'll wear and if her mommy-size will be able to carry it off well.
In the run-up to D-Day, we present here the best elements that Ash has incorporated in her appearance over the last 10 years. Take a look.
Best Outfit
It was the year when she could do no wrong. For her first Cannes appearance last year, a glowing Ash chose an angelic Elie Saab gown.
It fit her quite well and the colour was just perfect against her skin tone.
We aren't sure if she triggered the trend but peplums have been huge on the global red carpet scene ever since.
The actress also styled the hair best to go with the gorgeous Elie Saab gown.
Soft curls tied in an updo accentuated her face really well.
With her edgy Armani Prive gown the same year, the actress went experimental with the eye makeup.
The blue and yellow colours were a winning combo to offset the two-tone gown.
Back at the 2010 Cannes, the actress wore a lavender Elie Saab gown with a train.
She carried a sparkling yet understated clutch to accessorise.
Ash's 2011 appearance for a movie premiere was lauded by fashion pundits for her attempt at something new.
Her chunky bracelet was a great hit too.
To the 2009 do, Ash was a vision in white wearing a Roberto Cavalli gown and an elaborate hairdo that included braids and floral accessories.
Her pear drop earrings were a winning addition to the look.
To the Heroine photocall in 2011, Ash wore a Lanvin trench dress and paired it with a pair of satin ankle-strap heels.
Pairing your nude gown with black/chocolate brown nail paint?
Very global.
And that's the way Ash went for her debut appreance at Cannes 2011.
For some, the classic over-the-shoulder look has been done to death by Ash at Cannes over the years.
But somehow we just can't get over how enticing it makes her look.
And you have to admit, she does work it hard.
Few people get black and red right but when they do it's a riot!
Aishwarya's milk-and-peaches complexion was screaming for this to be attempted and when she did in 2010, it made for a bewitching sight.
So ethereal, so dangerous.
