PIX: Stars attend the 59th South Filmfare awards

The 59th South Indian Filmfare Awards was held on Saturday, July 7, at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai, and most of the film industry turned up to cheer their colleagues.

The awards were given for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada cinema.

We take a look at the awards ceremony.

Among those who arrived were Kamal Haasan and his star daughter Shruti.

Shruti Hassan received the Best Debut award for her Tamil film 7 Aum Arivu and Telugu film Anaga Anaga O Dheerudu.

Her father Kamal Haasan presented her the award.

Tamannaah

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone was one of the award presenters of the night -- she presented the Best Actor award to Dhanush for his Tamil film, Aadukalam.
