Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza are all set to tie the knot this Friday, February 3, and the festivities preceeding the big day have begun!
The much-in-love couple's sangeet ceremony was held at Taj Lands End in Bandra, a western Mumbai suburb and was attended by Bollywood's who's who.
Actors Jackky Bhagnani, Aftab Shivdasani, Aashish Choudhury and Riteish Deshmukh's younger brother Dheeraj performed on the occasion on various Bollywood songs.
Aftab and Aashish performed with a life-sized cardboard cutout of Riteish on Ek Kunwara Phir Gaya Mara from Masti.
Dheeraj, who's set to marry Bhagnani's sister Honey right after his brother's wedding, played Riteish for the performance while fiancee Honey played Genelia.
The highlight of the evening was the performance by Riteish and Genelia, which was choreographed by Karan Johar.
Sanjay Dutt, who's basking in the glory of Agneepath's success and partied with friends and colleagues to celebrate a few days ago, turned up for the ceremony with wife Maanyata.
Mrs Dutt wore a green embellished sari.
Karan Johar, who put together the whole thing for the couple, was clicked with Abhishek Bachchan, best bud Gauri Khan and an unidentified guest.
Gauri wore a Manish Malhotra sari to the do. Hubby Shah Rukh Khan, who was busy with a shoot in Film City, arrived well past midnight.
SRK may have missed out most of the party but he was still present. The actor had done the voiceover for the whole performance that was put together by the couple's friends and family.
Actresses Asin and Dia Mirza lent a pop of colour to the do with their vibrant and elaborate lehengas.
Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker and wife Sunita caught up with Sajid Khan at the party.
Sajid, who had played peacemaker in the SRK-Shirish Kunder feud along with Sajid Nadiadwala earlier in the evening, said about the incident, "Farah and Shirish went to Shah Rukh's house and he welcomed them with an open heart. What we see is not what always happens. Farah and Shah Rukh are family. They are like brother and sister. They have sorted out all their differences. Both have a lot of love for each other."
Rishi Kapoor and wife Neetu were in their element as they arrived for the ceremony.
Arbaaz Khan arrived with wife Malaika Arora Khan, sister-in-law Amrita Arora and friends Aditi Gowitriker and fashion designer Vikram Phadnis.
Dressed in colourful Anarkalis, actresses Sameera Reddy and Shamita Shetty arrived together for the ceremony.
Producer Boney Kapoor accompanied wife Sridevi to the do.
The actress was dressed in multi-coloured Anarkali and sky-high heels.
Actor Shahid Kapoor and filmmaker Priyadarshan arrive for the ceremony.
Funnyman Arshad Warsi was at the do with wife Maria Goretti.
When asked who should get married next, the actor quipped, "Salman Khan."
Actor Suneil Shetty arrived with wife Mana Shetty.
Filmmaker Goldie Behl was flanked by two lovely ladies -- jewellery designer Neelam Kothari and wife Sonali Bendre.
Salman Khan's sister Arpita was at the do in an intricate outfit. Designer Nishka Lulla sported wearing one of her own designs.
Lulla, who is one of the four designers for Genelia's trousseau, performed at the sangeet ceremony as well.
"I'm going to be dancing to Raat Ke Dhai Baje from Kaminey and Hoton Pe Aisi Baat among other songs," she said.
Actress Raveena Tandon wore an Anarkali and was accomapnied by husband Anil Thadani.
Representing the bachelor brigade of the industry, actors Sikander Kher, Rana Daggubati and Harman Baweja were present at the do.
One of the few women at the do to don a sari, Sophie Choudry struck several poses for the lensmen.
Zarine Khan stuck to the popular choice with an Anarkali dress.
Actor couple Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu arrive for the bash.
Bobby Deol was clicked with wife Tanya Deol, who looked striking in her pink salwar kameez.
Sanjay Kapoor arrived with wife Maheep and Chunky Pandey's wife Bhavna Pandey.
