Television actress Shveta Salve got married to her long-time boyfriend Harmeet Sethi on April 24 in Goa.
Harmeet runs an entertainment company. The couple was joined by friends and relatives for the festivities.

Harmeet proposed to girlfriend Shveta last year in Thailand, they had decided on an April wedding a year ago.
Spread over a couple of days, the wedding festivities included mehendi ceremony, among others.

The couple did not want to marry in Mumbai and were looking at Kerala and Thailand as potential wedding venues.
They finally zeroed in on Goa.

The couple can now revisit their wedding vows at anniversaries too.

Married according to the Hindu rituals, the ceremony also included haldi and sangeet where the party revellers let their hair down along with the new couple.

After reaching Goa there was mehndi and sangeet ceremony.

There were two wedding ceremonies that took place -- a Maharashtrain wedding was followed by a Punjabi one.
While Shveta is Maharashtrian, hubby Harmeet is a Punjabi.

There were also ardass (sikh prayer) in the evening after the sunset when vows were excahnged.
