Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra, who own the IPL team Rajasthan Royals, threw a bash for Australian cricketer Shane Warne and his actress/model girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley at their residence in Juhu, a western Mumbai suburb, over the weekend.

Hurley had flown down to India to meet her cricketer beau, who will be a part of the ESPN Star Sports commentary team for the second Test match between India and England, starting in Mumbai on November 30.

Warne, who is good friends with the hosts, was formerly the captain of their IPL team.

"Great to see @warne888 and @ElizabethHurley at our home, fun evening at home with a few friends:) Food from Cafe 212 was fab even if I say so myself! Yum," Shetty tweeted after the party.

Hurley, in turn, thanked the hosts for the dinner bash.

She wrote on her Twitter profile, ""Thank you to @TheShilpaShetty and @TheRajKundra for the most delicious dinner and enchanting cuddle with the Mini Kundra."

The couple clearly made the most of the intimate party as they spent quality time with each other.

Warne, who's shed his famous rugged looks for a more metrosexual appearance, is much leaner now.

Described by Shilpa as an intimate do for close friends, the party was attended by Chunkey and Bhavna Pandey, industrialist Gautam Singhania and Suniel Shetty among others.
