PIX: ScarJo, Jessica Biel at Hitchcock's NY premiere

Sacha Gervasi's much awaited biographical drama Hitchcock, scheduled to open in theatres later this month, was premiered in a star-studded red carpet ceremony in New York on November 18.

Dressed in a striking black and green number, actress Scarlett Johansson was an instant hit at the premiere, held at Ziegfeld Theatre in New York.

ScarJo plays yesteryear actress and the leading lady of Hitchcock's noted film Psycho -- Janet Leigh -- in the biopic.

Veteran actor Sir Anthony Hopkins plays the title character in the film.

Jessica Biel

Unlike her costar, newly-married Jessica Biel went for a covered up look in a sparkly outfit and bangs.

Biel plays Vera Miles in the film, a yesteryear actress who worked closely with Hitchcock, their most notable collaborations being Psycho and Psycho 2.

Helen Mirren

Award-winning British actress Helen Mirren, who plays Hitchcock's wife Alma Reville in the film, looked striking in her black and gold outfit.

Toni Collette

Australian actress and musician Toni Collette, who has a minor part in the film, was an exception in her form-fitting and rather understated outfit.

Director Sacha Gervasi attended the premiere with his British theatre producer wife Jessica de Rothschild.
