Things couldn't be better for Salman Khan on both professional and personal fronts.
While his latest release Dabangg 2 has reportedly had a record opening at the box office, the actor apparently bonded with Abhishek Bachchan at a party thrown by industrialist Sunny Dewan and his socialite wife Anu at their Bandra residence on December 25.
It was hardly surprising to see almost the entire film industry at the party, considering Anu Dewan's close friendship with star wives -- Gauri Khan, Sussanne Roshan and other stars like Malaika Arora Khan -- with whom she's routinely spotted with at social dos.
Reportedly, Aishwarya hovered around as Salman -- with whom she had a rather acrimonious and highly publicised break-up -- chatted with her husband Abhishek during the party.
The Bachchans arrived at the party together, dressed in black.
Salman and Aishwarya have been giving each other the cold shoulder ever since they broke up in 2002. According to reports, the former couple didn't interact at the party either.
Arbaaz Khan and the missus were all set to party the night away.
With Dabangg 2 making all the right noises, Khan -- who's made his directorial debut with the film -- must have heaved a sigh of relief.
