PIX: Saif-Kareena's star-studded Delhi reception

After the lavish wedding celebrations held in Mumbai for Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's filmi friends, the newlyweds flew to New Delhi for the Daawat-E-Walima on October 18.

Held at a plush bungalow on Aurangzeb Road, the do was attended by Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi, among other prominent politicos, filmi celebrities and the capital's swish set.

Saif's daughter Sara Ali Khan wore a neon green anarkali at the do.

Sharmila Tagore

Saif Ali Khan's mum Sharmila Tagore, who'd organised the Delhi reception, looked elegant in a gold sari.

The venue

The entrance of the spacious venue was adorned with curtains of rajnigandha and jasmine flowers.

The Mughal-themed reception had Kareena dressed in a Manish Malhotra gharara-style attire while Saif chose a Raghvendra Rathore outfit.
