Less than four months after veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra passed away, he was immortalised on Mumbai's Bandra Bandstand Promenade on February 11.
His wife Pamela Chopra, son Uday and Rani Mukerji unveiled a statue dedicated to the filmmaker. His older son Aditya, with whom Rani is linked, gave the event a miss.
Rani Mukerji looked gorgeous as usual in a sari.
Parineeti Chopra, who was last seen in Yash Raj's Ishaqzaade, was also present.
While calling out the names of the family members of late filmmaker Yash Chopra, Shatrughan Sinha said, "Pamela Chopra, Uday, Rani and other family members... just now my wife said I missed out on Aditya Chopra. Jab maine Rani Chopra ka naam liya hai toh zaahir si baat hai ke Aditya ka bhi naam leta (When I am saying Rani Chopra's name, it is obvious I mean Aditya)."
Choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant and actress Poonam Dhillon were among the invitees.
Actress Akanksha Malhotra, who starred opposite Salman Khan in the hit Garv, was spotted at the event.
UTV CEO Siddharth Roy Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha and Prem Chopra posed for pictures together.
Director Kabir Khan, whose last film was Ek Tha Tiger with Yash Raj, arrived solo for the event.
Karan Johar's mother Hiroo Johar caught up with her friend Pamela Chopra at the event.
Prem Chopra, Rani Mukerji, Uday Chopra, Poonam and Shatrughan Sinha, Pamela Chopra, Poonam Dhillon and Parineeti Chopra come together for the cameras.
