PIX: Rakhi Sawant's football match in the rain

Football fever has truly gripped Bollywood, or so Rakhi Sawant will have you believe.

A day after this, comes starlet Rakhi Sawant, along with Indo-Brazilian singer Carlyta Mouhini, who spearheaded the Ring Football match for under privileged children, to create awareness about the sport, in Mumbai.

The event took place at a ground in Malad, a western Mumbai suburb, and was organised by Lourdes Sports Committee.

While Rakhi headed the team of boys, Carlyta's team comprised of all the girls. 

The starlet, who recently joined a new political party, seemed to enjoy playing the game and displayed some great moves along with Carlyta.

Carlyta Mouhini, who has been actively involved in supporting women empowerment causes, said, "This is bliss. Rains and football are my stress busters.

"I'm glad Rakhi ably supported me in this cause and came forward to spread awareness about football in Mumbai.

"My ultimate aim is to see Indian team playing in the FIFA World Cup."
