Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil wed actress Nazriya Nazim on August 21 in a private ceremony held at Al Saj Convention centre in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

The wedding was attended by family and close friends from the film industry and the world of politics.

Fahadh got engaged to Nazriya in February this year, after they met on the sets of a film.

He is the son of noted director-producer Fazil, who has made many hits films in the 1980s and 1990s.

Fahadh made his acting debut in 2002 with Kaiyethum Doorath. It was directed by his father. Unfortunately, the film did not do well at the box office.

So he went to the US, and completed his studies.

He returned in 2009 to act in Kerala Cafe, which received good reviews.

Nazriya made her acting debut as a child artist in Mammootty-starrer Palunku (2006) directed by Blessy. She played the superstar's daughter. 

Her first film as an adult was called Maad Dad, which released in 2013. She has also acted in Tamil films.
