Madhuri Dixit's eagerly awaited comeback film Dedh Ishqiya opens in theatres today. A look at the film's star-studded premiere in Mumbai on January 9.
Madhuri Dixit may have stayed away from films for a long time but when she turned up at the premiere of her comeback film, Abhishek Chauney's Dedh Ishqiya, she was greeted with applause from her fans, who waited outside Cinemax, Versova, in the western suburb of Mumbai, to get a glimpse of her.
The actress walked in with husband Dr Sriram Nene.

The beautiful Huma Qureshi, who plays Madhuri's constant companion in the film named Muniya, donned a Manish Malhotra outfit for the do.
Kalki Koechlin, who will be seen in director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK's Happy ending this year, went the sari route in a printed number.
The actress, when asked about her appearance for a film that also starred Huma Qureshi, retorted, "I'm not going to waste my time on this question, sorry."
Incidentally, the actress turns 30 today, January 10.
Arshad Warsi, who reprises his role as the flippant Babban in the Ishqiya sequel, arrived with wife Maria Goretti.
Dressed in an exceptionally striking Payal Singhal sari, Maria turned heads at the premiere.
Director Abhishek Chaubey was joined by actors Tannishtha Chatterjee and Adil Hussain at the do.
Vishal Bhardwaj, who composed the film's music and was a co-writer on the screenplay with Chaubey and Gulzar, arrived with singer wife Rekha.
Comedian and Mickey Virus actor Manish Paul goofs around with the film's poster upon arrival.
Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai was also spotted at the screening.
