Home to the Academy Awards since 2002, Kodak Theatre -- renamed Dolby Theatre last year -- has played a magnificent host to the Hollywood glitterati and one of the most highly regarded cinematic awards.
With less than a week to go for the 85th edition of Oscar awards, here's a peek at what the theatre looks like from the inside.

The red carpet arrivals

The theatre became the permanent home for the awards in 2002 and was renamed the Hollywood and Highland Center following Eastman Kodak's bankruptcy before the name was changed to Dolby Theatre.
The entrance
