PIX: Bollywood stars attend Phalke awards

The Dadasaheb Phalke awards were held at the Tulip Star hotel in Juhu, a western Mumbai suburb, on the evening of May 3.

Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu were in attendance, apart from the winners and several other yesteryear actors who made an appearance at the do.

Director Subhash Ghai caught up with the actors.

Interestingly, on the same evening, Bengali veteran Soumitra Chatterjee was receiving the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke award in New Delhi at the 59th National Awards ceremony, from the hands of Vice President Mohammad Hanif Ansari.
