Macho men in uniform serving the country with all their courage and good looks appeals to Bollywood great deal.

The silver screen loves a good dose of striking heroics, remember?

While most genuine war movies are more concerned with an accurate depiction of the events, there are some who rather let their brawny hero with a fancy title do all the talking.

And that's what Vidyut Jamwal's Commando-A One Man Army means to do. The hunky bad guy from Force is back to flexing his enviable physique as Captain Karanvir Dogra in the action-packed film, which hits the screens on April 12.

He may not have a strapping body like Jamwal but Shah Rukh Khan rocks his Major Samar Anand, a bomb defusing specialist with a stubble and an attitude, which are both undeniably sexy.

Abhishek Bachchan, LoC Kargil

Bachchan junior lends some of his ruggedness to a play a dynamic martyr in JP Dutta's disappointing war epic that is little more than big-scale eye candy.

Saif Ali Khan, LoC Kargil

Dutta's multistarrer offering, which pales terribly in comparison to the memorable Border, also starred a clean-cut Saif Ali Khan as a Colonel.

It's also his first film opposite wife, Kareena Kapoor.

Arjun Rampal, Asambhav

Though Asambhav is nowhere close to Rajiv Rai's previous entertainers like Tridev and Mohra, it does try to showcase the attractive Arjun Rampal as a power-packed package in its action-filled scenes.

Ajay Devgn, Zameen

He played an effective, intense cop in Singham. And he plays an effective, intense army guy in Zameen.

Bottomline: The Himmatwala looks great in uniform.

Bobby Deol, Heroes

Aiming to follow in the footsteps of his father (Dharmendra in Haqeeqat) and big brother (Sunny Deol in Border), Bobby slips into army attire and looks quite good too.

Too bad his film didn't turn out to be a patch on these classics.

Milind Soman, Tarkieb

Few may remember but the eternally young and dashing Milind Soman played a army officer in Nana Patekar-Tabu starrer Tarkieb.

While the film was a washout what matters is just how mouthwatering Milind looks in that get-up.
