PIX: Stars attend The Avengers premiere

While director Joss Whedon's multi-superhero flick The Avengers is set to release this Friday in theatres, Mumbai's swish set got to attend the film's preview last night, April 24, at PVR Juhu in suburban Mumbai.

While many top actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Vidya Balan who were said to be attending the screening were absent, several others kept their date with one of the most awaited movies of the year.

Model/actress Sarah Jane Dias channelled casual chic as she arrived to attend the premiere.

Vidya Balan may have given the event a miss but her rumoured boyfriend UTV's Siddharth Roy Kapoor seemed to be enjoying in Housefull 2 director Sajid Khan's company.

Ranvir Shorey

Actor Ranvir Shorey, who'll next be seen in Rajat Kapoor's Fatso with Gul Panag and Purab Kohli, was also spotted at the preview.

His film releases on May 4.

Shenaz Treasurywala

Former veejay and actress Shenaz Treasurywala, who was last seen in Delhi Belly as Imran Khan's girlfriend, made an appearance for The Avengers' preview show.

Ashutosh Gowariker

Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker arrived with wife Sunita to catch the show.

Luke Kenny

Rock On!! actor/musician Luke Kenny, who's rarely seen at social dos, made an exception for the superhero film as he ventured out to attend the preview.

Producer Ramesh Taurani was spotted with actor Ruslaan Mumtaz.
