Pix: Dharmendra, Big B, Shotgun bond at tele awards

The 11th Indian Televisian Academy awards took place over the weekend at the Yash Raj Films Studio in Andheri, a western Mumbai suburb.

While all the television gliteratti turned up in full force, Bollywood was represented by yesteryear heartthrobs Shatrughan Sinha and Dharmendra who joined Amitabh Bachchan, who's hosting one of the most popular shows on TV, Kaun Banega Crorepati.

The trio was felicitated at the awards ceremony and was visibly excited to catch up with each other.

It was quite rare a sight to see the once-sparring stalwarts mingling so warmly at a public event.

Actor/director Farhan Akhtar was seen chatting up Dharmendra at the event.

Upon receiving his award, Dharmendra said, 'I am overjoyed to witness such love and affection for me even after 50 years in the industry. It is a rare moment when I see my colleagues and stalwarts such as Amitabhji & Shatruji on stage together with me, I wish I could turn the clock back and work non-stop with them again.'

Akhtar was joined by business partner Ritesh Sidhwani. The duo was felicitated for the success of their film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Television actress Dolly Bindra, who'd cooked up quite a storm during her stay at the Bigg Boss house last season, was in her element as she arrived for the show.
