Hollywood star and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger arrived in India yesterday and seemed to be looking forward to exploring the culinary delights hidden in New Delhi's bylanes.
The star tweeted his picture at the airport and invited suggestions for good places to eat in the capital. The star was in luck as he was flooded with options and finally decided to try out Bukhara, the famous restaurant in ITC Maurya hotel in New Delhi.
Schwarzenegger feasted on naans and meat delicacies and by the looks of it, had a pretty good time.
He wrote along with this picture (left) on his Facebook fan page, 'I loved the food. I've loved my first trip to India. Here I am with the biggest piece of naan in Delhi.'
He thanked everybody for the recommendations as he posed with the high-end restaurant's staff, 'Thanks for all the Delhi restaurant recommendations. A special thanks to those of you who mentioned Bukhara. It was incredible.'
The actor is reportedly headed to Agra now.
Prior to all this, he spoke at the 12th Delhi Sustainable Development Summit 2011 organised by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in New Delhi on February 2.
