Smita Thackeray's son Rahul got engaged to his childhood sweetheart Aditi Redkar at a simple ceremony held at Levo Restaurant in Andheri, a western suburb of Mumbai.
Rahul, who has known Aditi since kindergarten, says, "It took me a lot of guts to propose to her but today, on my engagement day, I feel so much inner peace."
"I can’t express my feelings," Aditi gushes. "It’s like finally, this is it. We have been together for 10 years and we are very, very happy."
