Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor joined quite a few Bollywood actors and star cricketers for a charity football match over the weekend at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.
Bachchan's team comprised of actors Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Dino Morea, Sachin Joshi, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Karan Wahi, Amit Sadh, entrepreneaur Raj Kundra, model coordinator Marc Robinson, choreographer Caesar Gonsalves, squash champion Ritwik Bhattacharya and tennis player Leander Paes among others.
Abhishek's team lost the game to Virat's team, with the final score at 4-3.
Abhishek later tweeted, 'A tough loss 4:3. But the spirit was amazing. Congratulations to the All Hearts Foundation team for a great match,'
All Hearts Foundation was the name given to the cricketers' team.
Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra, who was in Abhishek's team, tweeted, 'We played like champions unfortunately lost 4-3 not bad for actors vs sports stars. @AllstarsFC_PFH wudnt mind a rematch! Raised 4 charity!'
Abhishek thanked Delhi and its 'beautiful people' for watching the match, and supporting a great cause.
The Bollywood team was trained by former football champion Bhaichung Bhutia.
Ranbir scored two goals out of three.
At the end of the match, the actors posed for the cameras.
