One of the first things that Abhishek Bachchan did after he returned to Mumbai from Macau, where the IIFA awards were held, was inaugurate special BEST buses to help the members of the film industry.
The special buses -- C1 and C2 -- were flagged off from Mayor Sunil Prabhu's bungalow at Shivaji Park, in central Mumbai.
C1 will ply between Wadala and Madh island, where quite a few movies are shot, while C2 will operate for workers from Film City to Wadala. Both buses will operate upto 2:30am, as the film industry works till late at night.
Abhishek was joined by Aditya Thackeray, grandson of late Bal Thackeray, and leader of Yuva Sena.
Shiv Sena Corporater Sanjay Ambole and art director Nitin Desai joined Aditya Thackeray and Abhishek Bachchan at the inauguration.
Later, Sanjay Ambole, Nitin Desai, Aditya Thackeray and Abhishek Bachchan were joined by Marathi actor and Shiv Sena leader Aadesh Bandekar, and they posed together for the picture.
Abhishek Bachchan boards the bus and gives everyone a thumbs up.
