Veteran actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra's daughter Esha Deol got engaged to her boyfriend Bharat Takhtani on February 12.
The ring ceremony took place at Hema's recently renovated bungalow in Juhu, a western suburb in Mumbai.

The actress has been dating the Bandra-based businessman for quite a while now. Only a few relatives and close friends were invited to the function.
The auspicious time for the engagement was from 10.30 am to 12 pm and the ritual took place at 10.30 am.

Hema told reporters, "It is a very happy moment for all of us and we are very happy today for Esha and Bharat. Bharat is a very nice person. We will soon be formally announcing the marriage date."
