Friends, family and fans gather to bid goodbye to veteran actress Suchitra Sen, who breathed her last earlier today.

Legendary actress Suchitra Sen, who passed away on Friday, January 17, following a massive heart attack, was given an elaborate sendoff in Kolkata this evening.

Sen's funeral took place at Keoratala Crematorium in south Kolkata and a gun salute was accorded to the legendary actress.

Daughter Moon Moon Sen, grand daughter Raima Sen and chief minister Mamta Banerjee were present at the funeral.
