The film Ankur Arora Murder Case saw a low turnout of stars at its premiere held at PVR Juhu, a western suburb of Mumbai. Based on a real life incident, the film has been directed by Suhail Tatari and written and produced by Vikram Bhatt.
Actress Paoli Dam, who debuted in Bhatt's Hate Story, was present at the premiere. She plays a lawyer in the film.

Singh has also been roped in Vikram Bhatt's next film, a comedy.
Tisca Chopra plays Ankur Arora's mother in the film.
The film's cast -- Arjun Mathur, Vishaka Singh, Paoli Dam, Tisca Chopra and Vishesh Tiwari -- strikes a pose with director Suhail Tatari.
Kay Kay Menon, who plays a prominent role in the film, did not attend the premiere.
Since the film is inspired from a real life incident, Dhanraj Film Private Limited -- of which Vikram Bhatt is a part -- donated Rs 1 lakh to the victim's family.
