Oscar-winning musician A R Rahman attended the 55th Annual Grammy Awards along with his wife Saira Banu.
He shared a picture of them together (above) and tweeted: 'On the way to the Grammies!'
The two-time Grammy winning musician was happy to see many Indians artistes like Anoushka Shankar and her late father Pandit Ravi Shankar, in the nominations.
'Not presenting. Good to see many Indian artistes in line for an award,' he added.
Days after its worldwide release on January 25, Kamal Haasan's magnum opus Vishwaroopam has managed to make over Rs 10 crore at the box office.
Rahul Bose, who plays Omar in the film, tweeted: 'Just received figures of the all india box office collections of vishwaroopam. 120 crores and counting. Superb!'
'Vishwaroopam's the first film I've been a part of that's made over 100 crores. Congratulatuions to the team and mr haasan especially!' he added.
Produced simultaneously in Hindi as Vishwaroop, the film is going to have a sequel which is expected to release next year.
Farhan Akhtar, who has formed a nine-member band called Farhan Live, made his stage debut with the band in Goa over the weekend.
'A glimpse from last night,' he tweeted with a picture (above) and added: 'Goa!!!! Thank you for the love... had a super rocking time last evening. See you next time.'
Farhan Live includes Shannon Donald (vocals), Sarosh Izedyar (lead guitarist), Dibyajyoti Nath (bass guitar) Darshan Doshi (drums) and Umaang Doshi (keyboard), among others.
Bipasha Basu, whose last horror film Raaz 3 went on to become a hit, has appeared in several supernatural films in the last couple of years.
She will now feature in Suparn Verma's Aatma, and she tweeted why she's interested in this particular genre.
'Amused when ppl ask me why supernatural films! New genre, entertaining stories, human drama,interesting role then why not?' she added.
'Horror n Supernatural is a very untapped genre in Hindi film industry!Its great bcoz besides a human story u show d unknown! And the unknown is a part of ur own imagination which is the creative n fun part fr a film maker and actor!' she added.
'Being called 'The Face of fear' or 'Screamqueen', when I read this, it sounds like fun!' she signed off.
After Poonam Pandey and Ekta Kapoor, Preity Zinta is the latest celebrity to attend the ongoing Kumbh Mela in Allahabad.
'At the Maha Kumbh Mela. Over 50million people took a dip in the Holy Ganga 2day & kept their faith !' she tweeted.
Meanwhile, actress Huma Qureshi, who visited the holy spot with co-star Emraan Hashmi, tweeted: 'Maha Kumbh- The crowds, fervour, the faith, boat rides, holy Ganga, the experience.. Wld have never known had it not been.'
