1. Bodyguard Has Arrived
When our critic said that Bodyguard was unimpressive, Salman loyalists took it upon themselves to prove her wrong.
They needn't have bothered, the film went on to become the biggest weekend opener of all time at the box office.

When Aamir Khan threw a grand reception party for his nephew Imran and his new bride Avantika Mallik, the cream of Bollywood and high profile politicos turned up in their finest to congratulate the Khans.
It was one of the most high profile weddings of the year too.

Readers just couldn't get enough of the starlet's new avatar.

Rockstar released to largely positive reviews but, quite ironically, failed to impress musicians.
While the masses, who can't tell two different kinds of guitars apart, loved the film which is about a musician, there were others who didn't approve of Imtiaz Ali's immature treatment of a relatively untouched genre.

Ra.one continued its dismal performance when it opened in New York theatres, which is quite surprising since Shah Rukh Khan has a huge fan base overseas and worse films have made money there.

Malaika Arora Khan's Munni act prompted us to dig for other mommies from Bollywood who'd fired up the screen with their sensational dance numbers.
And readers were quite pleased with the outcome.

Southern hotties Suriya and Shruti Haasan struck gold with their hit Tamil film 7 Aam Arivu as the film was a hit at the box office as well as with critics.
The fans thoroughly enjoyed watching their favourite stars too.

Vidya Balan was hot topic all throughout the year. Her role-of-a-lifetime in The Dirty Picture cemented her position as the only 'real' actress in Bollywood.
Everything about the film was a talking point for fans too.

Vidya Balan and Rani Mukerji-starrer No One Killed Jessica was the first hit of 2011.
