Veteran actor Dharmendra and sons Sunny and Bobby Deol were the centre of attention on Thursday evening during the music launch of their upcoming film Yamla Pagla Deewana held at a five-star hotel in suburban Mumbai.
And what a star-studded event it turned out to be!
Spotted at the event hosted by the film's director Samir Karnik and producer Manmohan Desai, were actors Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, Abhay Deol, Suniel Shetty and Anupam Kher.

The Deols kicked off the proceedings in style by performing the evergreen song 'Mein Jat Yamla Pagla Deewana'.
Then it was Amitabh's turn to take the stage as he formally launched the film's music, much of which was composed by Anu Malik, who later performed a couple hit songs from his previous movies.

"Mein chahta tha mera Jai (Amitabh's name in Sholay) bhi aaye aur woh bhi aagaya,"('I wanted my Jai to come and he did') said Dharmendra, who was delighted that his dearest friend could make it to the event. He added, "Jai waise bhi meri jaan hai jaise filmo mein tha. And I love him!"
Amitabh too had something to say of his fellow Sholay co-star. "Dharmendra has just completed 75 years. And I hope he lives for another 75 years!"

Sunny Deol then explained the reason why they made the film. "We have done this film because of our dad, who has completed 50 years in the film industry," he said.

Bobby wrapped up the proceedings by joking, "Ab jab Amitabh Bachchan aur Sunny Deol itna bol chuke hai toh Bobby Deol kya karega daaru piyega..." (When Amitabh Bachchan and Sunny Deol have said so many things what can Bobby Deol do except drink)
Judging by the trailer, Yamla Pagla Deewana looks intriguing. Let's hope it's better than the Deols' previous film, Apne.
