Amitabh Bachchan poses with Preity Zinta after he received the Lifetime Achievement award for completing 40 years in the film industry, during the grand finale of the 11th Mumbai Film Festival organised by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI) on Thursday.
The festival, which kicked off on October 29, was led by a committee headed by chairman Shyam Benegal and trustees Yash Chopra, Amit Khanna, Shabana Azmi and Amol Palekar.

The festival saw a number of Bollywood veterans being honoured for their contribution.
Yash Chopra was felicitated by Benoit Ginisty, from the Federation Internationale des Associatons de producteurs de Films (FIAPF) for Outstanding Achievement in Film.
'Such appreciation for once work is always a very humbling experience. I am happy that God has given me the strength and the ability to make films for so many years and I will continue to do so till my last breath,' said an elated Chopra.
