Meet Hollywood's Highest Paid Actors

Forbes magazine released the list of Hollywood's Highest Paid actors in 2010, and we saw quite a few surprises.

Mission Impossible actor Tom Cruise made it to the 10th spot, thanks to the latest film in the series. Cruise, who is awaiting the release of Ghost Protocol, earned a total annual earning of $22 million.

9. Tim Allen

Actor Tim Allen was placed ninth after earning a staggering $22 million from lending his voice to Buzz Lightyear in 2010's biggest box office success Toy Story 3.

8. Mark Wahlberg

Mark Wahlberg made the eight spot due to his turn in the Oscar winning film, The Fighter, with annual earnings of $28 million.

7. Robert Downey Jr

Iron Man Robert Downey Jr claims the seventh spot with earnings of $31 million.

6. Ben Stiller

Funnyman Ben Stiller is at number six with $34 million in earnings. The actor has delivered some successful films like Meet The Fockers and Tropic Thunder.

5. Tom Hanks

Tom Hanks, who landed the biggest flop of his career with the recently released Larry Crowne, ranks fifth among the highest paid.

4. Will Smith

Will Smith took fourth place, thanks in part to his soon-to-be released Men in Black 3.

3. Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler was third on the list with an estimated $ 40 million. His most recent film Grown Ups was his most successful with over $250 million at the box office.

2. Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp, who was at the top spot last year, was knocked down to second place with earnings of $50 million, despite starring in 2010's second biggest box office success Alice In Wonderland, which pulled in $1.024 billion.

1. Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio has taken the number one spot on the list of Hollywood's highest paid actors from Johnny Depp.

DiCaprio's role in Christopher Nolan's mind-bending science fiction flick Inception helped him dethrone Depp, the Daily Mail reported.

He earned a whopping $77 million in 2010 from the success of his films Inception and Shutter Island to claim the top spot on the Forbes magazine list for the very first time in his career.
