Here's a look at the big winners of the 70th Golden Globe awards.
Les Miserables was a big winner at the 70th Golden Globe awards, bagging three awards -- Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy), Best Actor for Hugh Jackman and Best Supporting Actress for Anne Hathaway.
Based on Victor Hugo's novel, the film has bagged eight Oscar nominations.

Ben Affleck
Actor/director Ben Affleck bagged a Best Director award for Argo, which won the Best Motion Picture (Drama) award as well. The actor was given a standing ovation for his brilliant film.
Affleck, however, was snubbed royally at the Oscars, where he didn't even get a nomination.

Daniel Day-Lewis
Daniel Day-Lewis won the Best Actor (Drama) in Steven Spielberg's historical epic Lincoln.
Produced by Anil Ambani's Reliance-Dreamworks, the film has bagged 12 Oscar nominations.

Jessica Chastain
Jessica Chastain won the Golden Globe for Best Actress (Drama) for her role as a CIA operative in Zero Dark Thirty.
A film chronicling the decade-long hunt for Al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama bin Laden after the September 2001 attacks, Zero Dark Thirty is directed by Kathryn Bigelow, whose film The Hurt Locker won six Oscars in 2010.

Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence beat veterans like Meryl Streep and Judi Dench to win the Best Actress (Musical or Comedy) award for Silver Linings Playbook.
