Pix: Check out the Best Bodies Of The Year

A new poll has come up with the five best bodies of the year. Quite interestingly, the names are from varied age groups and even professions.

British singer Cheryl Cole, who turned 28 this June, claimed the fifth spot in the poll.

Jennifer Lopez

Hot mama Jennifer Lopez is a 40-something pop diva and mother of two kids. But that doesn't have anything to do with the way she looks.

There's little wonder then, that she figures at number four on this list.

Kelly Brook

Model and actress Kelly Brook is famed for her 'real' hourglass figure. And we are all for some serious curves. She takes up the third spot.

Elle Macpherson

Former model Elle Macpherson hasn't been named 'The Body' for nothing. At 48, the mum of two looks like a million bucks and could give 20-somethings a run for their money.

She's at number two on the list.

Helen Mirren

Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren has been voted the 'Body of the Year' in a survey conducted on 2,000 fitness fanatics.

Mirren got a total of 17.65 percent votes. 'Helen Mirren's victory in our Best Body poll illustrates how, when it comes to body maintenance and well-being, age really is nothing but a number,' Scotsman.com quoted Tony Orme, marketing director of LA Fitness gym chain as saying.

'It's great to see the public celebrating bodies of all shapes and sizes, and proving that you really can look fabulous over 40 and 50,' he added.
