Here's a look at the latest news in Hollywood.
Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey married his girlfriend Camila Alves in a private ceremony in Texas.
The couple -- who have two children: son Levi, three months, and daughter Vida, two -- tied the knot in a ceremony attended by close friends and family on June 9, reported People Magazine.
A representative for 42-year-old actor has confirmed about the nuptials and said Alves is all set to take the groom's last name.
Wedding guests included actor Woody Harrelson and filmmaker Richard Linklater, who camped out the night before in the back garden of McConaughey's Austin compound. They stayed in two-person luxury tents with air-conditioners.
McConaughey, who met the model turned designer in a Los Angeles bar in 2006 and began dating soon afterward, proposed to her on Christmas Day.
Whitney Houston's mother Cissy has been accused of cashing in on her daughter's death by writing a new memoir.
Cissy has signed a deal with Harper Collins to tell the 'unabridged and unbelievable story' of her Grammy-winning daughter, who died in a Beverly Hills hotel bathtub in February at the age 48.
The move has upset some family members but it is not known which members are troubled by the memoir, reported Daily Mail.
'She will try to come out looking like the world's greatest mom, when in actuality, she wasn't,' an insider said.
It is being said that the the deal is a lame attempt to make cash after Whitney left her estate to daughter Bobbi Kristina.
The still untitled book is scheduled to come out next February.
'When I lost my daughter Nippy (Whitney Houston's nickname), the world lost one of the most beautiful voices and an extraordinarily beautiful and charitable woman. In sharing our story in this book, I hope to give her fans something to treasure, the way we all treasured Whitney. We are still receiving thousands of letters each day from her fans, and I hope reading this book will provide a deeper understanding into my daughter's true story,' Cissy had said in a statement released last week by the book publisher.
Queen of pop Madonna invited fresh controversy by flashing her right breast to a crowd of 55,000 people during a highly charged performance in Istanbul.
The singer, 53, was performing her 1995 hit, Human Nature when her dance routine turned into a striptease.
As her fans cheered, Madonna started taking off her shirt and undoing her pants. The dance ended with Madonna pulling down her bra to briefly expose her right breast, the Hollywood Reporter said.
Madonna has been making headlines on her controversial MDNA world tour but the latest striptease act has been her most outrageous onstage stunt so far.
Last week, Madonna courted controversy by placing a swastika on a picture of French National Front leader Marine Le Pen during a show in Tel Aviv. Le Pen has threatened to sue the singer if she tries to pull a similar stunt during her performance in France in July.
Singer Katy Perry is hoping to land the role of Freddie Mercury's girlfriend Mary Austin in a new film about the late Queen singer's life.
Sacha Baron Cohen will be playing the role of Mercury in the movie.
The 27-year-old singer, who wants to make the switch from music to big screen, hopes that the biopic of her rock idol will be her big break. Perry is such a big fan that she dressed as Mercury at her own birthday party.
Filming is due to start next year and Cohen is already working with remaining Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor on the movie, which is being tipped as a box office hit.
'Katy would love to be in the film as she is such a huge fan. She would want to play Mary Austin ideally. Katy has a similar look to Mary and would be a brilliant foil to Sacha,' the Mirror quoted a friend of Perry as saying.
The film is being produced by Oscar-winning Graham King, best known for his film The Departed, and the producers have secured rights to many of Queen's biggest hits, including We Will Rock You, Bohemian Rhapsody and We Are The Champions.
Stephen Frears, who directed Oscar-winning The Queen, starring Helen Mirren, is tipped to direct the movie. It will focus on late singer's rise to fame from the band's formation in 1971 to their monumental performance at 'Live Aid' in 1985.
Mercury began dating Austin in the early 1970s before he became famous, and the couple enjoyed a six-year relationship as Queen hit the big time.
Mercury later admitted to Austin that he was bisexual and they went their separate ways.
The singer had relationships with several male partners but always remained close to the woman he called his 'common-law' wife.
She was one of the first people he told when he was diagnosed as HIV-positive, and she comforted him during Mercury's final days before he died of AIDS-related pneumonia in 1991 at the age of just 45.
'All my lovers asked me why they couldn't replace Mary, but it's simply impossible,' Mercury had said.
In his will, he left 61-year-old Austin his home in London.

Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise is said to have agreed to appear in the film, an adaptation of John Sturges' 1960 movie of the same name, reported Sun Online.
Damon is set to star alongside Cruise as Vin, the character Steve MCQueen played in the original.
'Mgm are throwing big money at the film and wanted some top names to fill the main parts. You can't get much bigger than Cruise and Damon,' a source said.
