Amitabh Bachchan, who visited billionaire and Chelsea football club owner Roman Abramovich's palace with the cast of The Great Gatsby, was left awestruck by his luxurious house in Antibes, France.
'GOSH !! Just back from an eye opener evening ! Dinner at the Palace of billionaire Roman Abramovich, here in Antibes, Chelsea owner, and many other businesses, in the company of entire cast of 'Great Gatsby' .. added attraction Martin Scorsese, Ang Li ! And what a residence ! Unbelievably aesthetic opulence .. rarest of paintings, art decor and just every facility you could ever imagine .. place belonged to exiled King Edward of Windsor .. 100 acres of property, immaculate lawns and bushes and trees, each blade of gras cut the same size, and miles of bushes without a leaf out of place .. cannot describe the feeling !! Prada invite !' he tweeted.
Meanwhile, the 70-year-old actor who is busy promoting his upcoming film The Great Gatsby will be walking the red carpet at the 66th Cannes Film Festival.
'getting to bed ... early call tomorrow and busy ... media first then red carpet then after party and all compulsory,' he added.
The Great Gatsby releases in India on May 17.
Sonam Kapoor arrives in Cannes
After Vidya Balan, Sonam Kapoor was spotted at the 66th Cannes Film Festival.
She was dressed in an Anamika Khanna outfit.
Make-up artist Namrata Soni shared a picture of her and tweeted: 'Cannes day 1 gettin Sonam kapoor ready for interviews.'
Soni, who did make-up for Miss Kapoor, shared another picture of her. '@sonamkapoor chilling before an interview wearing the @lorealparisin chubby balm and the liquid liner black lacquer in the eyes.'
