Singer Justin Beiber, who turns 18 this year, is all set to enter adulthood.
Canadian singing sensation Justin Beiber shot to fame after his Youtube video went viral.
What followed was a mass hysteria, record deals with mentor Usher and rapper Ludacris and superstardom.
The popstar, who enters adulthood this year (his 18th birthday is fast approaching!) opened up about this coming-of-age phase in his life in a new interview with an American magazine, Daily Mail reports.
'I want to be loved and respected by everyone'

The teen sensation has millions of fans worldwide who swoon over his hit songs is eager to prove that he's not a kid anymore but maintains that it doesn't mean he'll start talking about sex and drugs in his songs.
'I want to be loved and respected by everyone,' he says.
Beiber is not worried about his haters too. He is confident he'll eventually win them over with his work.
'I don't consider myself religious'

The artist was recently seen sporting a Jesus tattoo on his lower calf but maintains that he's not religious.
He says, 'I don't consider myself religious. I haven't been to church in a long time.'

Stardom hasn't been all hunky dory for the youngster.
A fan recently alleged that he'd fathered a child with her. Her claims were discovered to be false following paternity tests.
The singer is currently in a relationship with Selena Gomez and even paid her mother, who had had a miscarriage, a visit in the hospital.
'Learnt boxing from my father'

Beiber also reveals in the interview about his boxing skills and that he learnt it from his father, who is really good at it.
He also likens his life with boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr and says that now that he's on top, people are just trying to bring him down but it won't happen.
'I'm here for a reason, and I'm here for a lifetime!' he exclaims.
