Jennifer Lopez has been named People Magazine's most beautiful woman in the world.
The 41-year-old singer and actress joined former winners Halle Berry, Jennifer Garner and Beyonce Knowles to top People's annual list of the world's most beautiful people.
The mum of twins was ecstatic when the news was broken to her. The Wedding Planner actress, who took time off to have twins in 2008, has enjoyed a revival in popularity since becoming a judge this year on talent show American Idol.
Her new single, the dance pop hit, On The Floor, has been topping charts around the world. Lopez, who was dropped by her record label in 2010 after disappointing sales, releases her first new studio album in four years in May, called Love?.
Known for her flawless skin and curvy figure, she attributed looking good to her personal life. 'I think it's because I have a lot of love in my life. I feel lucky to be an attractive person, but I've always felt that real beauty always comes from your heart.'

Troubled actor Charlie Sheen was fired from Two and a Half Men after ranting at the show's creator but he has said he is in discussion to make a return to the hit sitcom.
The show, which filmed its eighth series had to be cancelled partway after the 45-year-old star was hospitalised following a 36-hour drink and drug session with a bevy of porn stars, reported Contactmusic.
'There's been discussions, but I was asked not to divulge anything. Had they told me at the end of season eight that that behaviour wasn't going to be cool, I would have adjusted it,' he said.
The highest earning TV star also hinted not getting paid for his most recent participation in the show, which is produced by Warner Brothers Television. 'I'm supposed to [be getting paid], but that's -- what's the term? -- being withheld,' added Sheen.
The revelation comes as a surprise after Sheen reacted with hostility when he first learned he had lost his job and filed a $ 100 million lawsuit against Warner Brothers and the show's creator Chuck Lorre. Sheen retaliated earlier during the crisis as, 'You guys want to go to war, let's go to war. When I call winner, game over, I hope you all have your apologies ready, I hope you're writing them now.'

Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper have reportedly rekindled their romance. The couple, who first got together in 2009, are said to have decided to give their relationship another go and have been spending lots of time together while they are both in Los Angeles.
A source told website X17 Online, 'Jen and Bradley have been spending more and more time together. It's still the beginning of them rekindling their romance, but she's excited about it. They started seeing each other in New York, and they're definitely planning on hanging out more now that they're both on the West Coast.'
The news comes after it was revealed Bradley had ended his romance with Renee Zellweger following claims he was too busy with his career.
When they first started dating, friends of Jennifer claimed she felt 'a connection' with Bradley and was delighted with the way the romance was heading. One said, 'Jennifer is really excited. She feels a connection to Bradley.'
The pair grew close after starring in He's Just Not That Into You together and rumours of a romance between the pair began to surface after they were spotted on several dates in New York.

Scarlett Johansson has reportedly moved in with Sean Penn. The couple have only been dating since February -- two months after Iron Man 2 star Scarlett split with ex-husband Ryan Reynolds -- but sources say she has already started living at Sean's $3.8 million Malibu home.
An insider told Us Weekly magazine Scarlett 'has essentially moved in over the last few weeks,' adding that they prefer to 'just stay home, rather than be seen in public.
The couple are said to enjoy working out together, eating in and spending time with Sean's children, daughter Dylan, 20, and son Hopper, 17, from his marriage to Robin Wright.
Scarlett, 26, first struck up a friendship with Sean, 50, when she was considering flying to Haiti to help people affected by the two earthquakes in last January.
A source explained, 'Scarlett first reached out to Sean when she was planning to visit Haiti with Oxfam. She knew Sean was living there in a tent and turned to him for advice.'
Although Scarlett wasn't able to make the trip, the couple started dating and made their first public appearance together at the wedding of Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth last month.
Catherine Zeta Jones treated for bipolar disease

Catherine Zeta Jones has been treated for Bipolar disorder. The Welsh actress briefly checked into the Silver Hill Hospital in Connecticut last week for around five days.
Her representative said the illness -- diagnosed as Bipolar II disorder -- was triggered by the stress of her husband, Michael Douglas' recent battle with cancer.
The spokesperson said, 'After dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check in to a mental health facility for a brief stay. 'She's feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films.'
Bipolar disorder -- also known as manic depression -- is a mental illness where sufferers have elevated or irritable moods alternating with periods of depression. Bipolar II is marked by longer mood swings and more severe depression, and can be triggered by major life changes.
Michael, 66, underwent six months of intense chemotherapy and radiotherapy to treat a tumour in his throat before being given the all clear in January.
A friend of Catherine's told website People.com, 'Catherine has had to deal with Michael's illness and that's been hard. She went in for a few days because she's about to start working, and wanted to make sure she's in top form, which she is.'
Speaking about their relationship, Michael told OK! magazine, 'I think you just spend the effort and time and don't take each other for granted. That probably is the most important thing.'
The couple have two children together, Dylan, 10, and Carys, who will be eight next week. Catherine, 41, is set to star in Playing the Field and Lay the Favorite, both of which are scheduled for release next year.
