Unlike the simple salwar kameez she wore for the registered marriage on October 16, Kareena Kapoor's bridal outfits for the traditional wedding ceremony and the party that followed were anything but modest.
The ceremony that preceded Saif Ali Khan and Kareena's wedding reception saw the actress don a traditional sharara, a Pataudi family heirloom and previously worn by Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore.
Adorned with bridal finery and jewels, the actress posed for a picture (posted on a fan page on Facebook) with fashion designer Manish Malhotra, who'd designed her trousseau.
The actress later changed into a heavily embroidered deep red Manish Malhotra creation for the wedding reception.
A second reception, Daawat-E-Walima, organised by Sharmila Tagore is set to take place in New Delhi today, October 18.
