Harry Potter star Emma Watson has been named as Style Icon at the Elle Style Awards at London's Great Connaught Rooms.
Watson, 20, wore a nude mini dress with daring cutaway sides to the bash, and was presented Style Icon gong by designer Vivienne Westwood.
The young star said she was overwhelmed to be called a "style icon" and tried not to focus on having her style emulated by young girls.
'It feels amazing. Fashion is something that I love. I try not to think about it too much. I try and block all that off and I just do what I love and just have fun with it,' the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.
'I've definitely been feeling the pressure a bit more recently but it's just fun for me,' she stated.
Elle editor Lorraine Candy praised Watson for her individuality.
'She's got a very distinct individual look. We always say at Elle, 'It's not what you wear, it's the way you wear it', and she's got such spirit, Emma. I think that makes her stylish,' she added.

New Spider-Man movie gets a name
The new Spider Man movie starring Andrew Garfield will be called The Amazing Spider-Man.
Columbia Pictures has confirmed the title and the release date of the project, which will hit cinemas on July 3, 2012.
Other stars in the movie include Easy A actress Emma Stone and Welsh star Rhys Ifans, reports Contactmusic.
Sally Field and Martin Sheen are also taking part in the movie, written by James Vanderbilt, Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves.
Hannah Montana destroyed my family: Billy Ray
Miley Cyrus's father Billy Ray has blamed Disney's Hannah Montana for his daughter's issues.
The country crooner, who is divorcing his wife, Tish, angrily said, "the damn show destroyed my family."
Blaming publicists and her handlers, Cyrus said he wishes Hannah Montana never happened.
'I hate to say it, but yes, I do. I'd take it back in a second,' the New York Post quoted him as saying in GQ' s March issue.
Reflecting on Miley's controversial moments -- including seductive photos on the Internet, pole-dancing at the Teen Choice Awards, and posing for Vanity Fair draped in a sheet -- Cyrus says he should have been more strict, and accuses her handlers for going too far to promote her, and then using him as the fall guy.
'Every time the train went off the track ... her people, or as they say in today's news, her handlers, every time they'd put [the blame on] me ... I took it because I'm her daddy ... OK, nail me to the cross,' her father said.
'I'm scared for her. She's got a lot of people around her that's putting her in a great deal of danger. I want to get her sheltered from the storm,' he added.
Talking about Miley's 18th birthday party at LA bar Trousdale, he says, 'You know why I didn't go? Because they were having it in a bar. It was wrong. It was for 21 years old and up ... all them people, they all wanted me to fly out so that then when all the bad press came they could say, ''Daddy endorsed this stuff.'' I started realizing I'm being used.'
James Franco shows off his work
Spider-Man star James Franco has opened an exhibition of his artwork in Germany.
The actor is set to host the glitzy Academy Awards ceremony with Anne Hathaway on 27 February and he is also one of the nominees in the Best Actor category for his role in 127 Hours.
Franco is a keen artist and scholar, and he took some time out from his Oscars preparations and flew to Berlin, Germany at the weekend to open an exhibition of his contemporary drawings, photography, short films and sculptures, entitled The Dangerous Book Four Boys.
The show previously ran in New York City last summer and marks his first exhibition in Europe.
'I've been spending most weekends in L.A. shooting pre-taped stuff for the Oscars and this is the first weekend I wasn't doing that,' the Daily Star quoted him as telling the Hollywood Reporter.
The Dangerous Book Four Boys runs in Berlin until April 23.
