Oprah Winfrey is set to return to the big screen with Oscar-winners Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep in a new comedy movie.
The TV host, who was herself nominated for an Academy Award for her role in 1985's The Color Purple, will appear in a currently-untitled new comedy created by Sex and The City writer Michael Patrick King, the Daily Express reports.
The film is about a home-shopping TV channel, in which the three ladies will "make their way through the maze of mania that surrounds marketing, marriages and the media," according to a statement from the Universal film studio.
The role will be Winfrey's first onscreen part since 1999's Beloved.

It's official: Ozzy Osbourne is a Neanderthal
Image: Ozzy OsbourneOzzy Osbourne is a descendant of a Neanderthal man, according to researchers who have studied the singer's DNA.
The researchers discovered that the star shares some DNA with the ancient Romans who were killed in Pompeii when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD.
He is also a distant relative of outlaw Jesse James, the last Russian tsar Nicholas II and King George I.
Scientists made the discovery by taking a sample of the singer's blood at his home in Buckinghamshire and sending it to a lab in New Jersey in the US. Using a state-of-the-art 12,000 pound test, they were able to unlock his genetic code, or genome.
The 61-year-old hellraiser, who has survived years of drug abuse and alcohol addiction, joked that news of his Neanderthal heritage would not come "as much of a surprise" to his wife Sharon or to police departments around the world.
He famously bit the head off a bat while drunk on stage, broke his neck in a quad bike accident in 2003 and has admitted there's "no plausible reason" why he is still alive.
The greatest movie ever
Image: A scene from ChinatownAfter 36 years of its release in 1974, Chinatown has now been voted as the greatest film ever made.
The Chandleresque 'neo-noir', with an Oscar-winning script by Robert Towne and a superlative performance by Nicholson as detective JJ Gittes, was voted into first place by a panel of Guardian and Observer critics.
Chinatown beat six other films in a shortlist drawn from the recently published seven-part newspaper series on 'The Greatest Films of All Time'.
Equal second were Alfred Hitchock's Psycho (from the horror section) and Andrei Tarkovsky's Andrei Rublev (leading film the arthouse section).
Guardian film critic Peter Bradshaw said Chinatown was ''such a powerful piece of mythmaking, a brilliant evocation of Los Angeles as a spiritual desert,'' reports Sydney Morning Herald.
The Observer's Philip French considered it a movie of ''near perfection''.
The seven best films are:
1. Chinatown (Roman Polanski, 1974)
2. Psycho (Alfred Hitchcock, 1960), Andrei Rublev (Andrei Tarkovsky, 1966)
4. Annie Hall (Woody Allen, 1976)
5. 2001: A Space Odyssey (Stanley Kubrick, 1968)
6. Brief Encounter (David Lean, 1945)
7. Apocalypse Now (Francis Ford Coppola, 1979)

Image: Celine Dion arrives with her husband Rene Angelil and son Rene-CharlesCeline Dion gave birth to twin boys at a Florida hospital on Saturday.
The Grammy-winning singer, 42, welcomed twin boys with husband Rene Angelil just one minute apart from each other, at 11:11 a.m. and 11:12 a.m.
'Celine is resting now and they plan to discuss what to name the boys when she wakes up,' the New York Daily News quoted her rep as telling People.com.
The happy news comes less than a week after the singer checked into St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. for observation.
Doctors said Dion, who was more at-risk for premature labour due to her age, was simply undergoing a standard precautionary measure "for any patient with twin pregnancy in this clinical setting."
Already mother to son Rene-Charles, 9, the crooner is "thrilled" with the new additions to her family. The twins, who were born premature, will now spend a few days in an incubator.
"Rene-Charles has been to the hospital to visit his brothers and is just so excited they are here," the rep added.
