Oprah Winfrey reveals half-sister

TV mogul Oprah Winfrey has made a sensational revelation on her show.
Winfrey has announced that she has a half-sister she never knew about, reports the Washington Post.
On her program, Winfrey said she learned about her half-sister Patricia last November and the two met on Thanksgiving Day.
Winfrey made "home video" of her first meeting with her sister on Thanksgiving Day; she and her partner Stedman Graham drove to Milwaukee to finally meet Patricia.
And speaking thereof, Winfrey told her audience she chose to make the announcement herself -- so the media would not exploit it.
Winfrey got choked up when she began to tell her studio audience that so many people have betrayed her since she became a celebrity, and it really moved her that Patricia kept the secret of her relationship to talk show queen quiet all this time until it best suited Winfrey's final-season scheduling plans.
Patricia "never once thought to sell this story" to the press, and mess up her show plans, she said.
Winfrey said she was 9 years old and living with her father when her mother gave birth to Patricia and gave her up for adoption. Winfrey said she never even knew her mother was pregnant.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Cameron is currently writing the sequels to the highest-grossing film of all time.
'We are planning to shoot them together and [do post-production work on] them together, and we will probably release them not quite back to back, but about a year apart. Christmas '14 and '15 is the current plan,' the New York Post quoted Cameron as saying.
Cameron said the characters who were still alive at the end of Avatar will return for the sequels, "at least in some form."
Glee cast breaks Elvis Presley's record
Image: The cast of Glee on Rollling Stone magazine coverThe cast of musical comedy-drama TV series Glee has broken late Elvis Presley's 50-year record, as the act to score 20 top 40 hits in the shortest space of time.
The cast's cover of Britney Spears' hit Toxic entered the singles chart at number 40, and it took them just 57 weeks, compared to Presley's 88 weeks, to achieve the record.
The group, which has sold more than two million singles, now has three top 10 and six top 20 hits under its belt.
'This is a quite amazing achievement by the Glee cast to be in the same company as the likes of Elvis Presley, in fact beating his 50-year-old record,' the BBC quoted Martin Talbot, managing director of the Official Charts Company, as saying.
Glee, which is about a high school musical group, won best TV musical or comedy as well as two supporting actor prizes at the Golden Globes.
