Zac Efron has reportedly been spending a lot of time with his The Lucky One co-star Taylor Schilling. They have been shooting for the film in New Orleans.
Rumours of a romance began this week after the Star magazine reported that newly single Efron had 'instant chemistry' with the 26-year-old Schilling.
But according to E! Online, the actors' bond hasn't turned romantic yet though they have gotten 'chummy.'
'They joke around, eat together sometimes, run lines. Nothing out of the ordinary,' the New York Daily News quoted a source from the set assaying.

Pammie cried when she first posed nude for Playboy
Image: Pamela AndersonShe may come across as extremely bold but Pamela Anderson cried and was sick when she first posed naked for the Playboy magazine.
The former Baywatch babe was stunned when the adult publication asked her to bare all for them but she quickly overcame her nerves about stripping off in public.
'I was so confused. I told my mom about the offer and she said, ''Do it. I'd do it,'' Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
'I was so shy I was sick. They got the cover in the first roll of film because I was in tears thinking, 'Oh my God, this woman, she touched my boob, this is not for me.'
'And then, after a while shooting, I became so comfortable they had to stop before I walked out of the studio door nude,' she added.
Moving on after Heath Ledger's death
Image: Michelle Williams and Heath LedgerFor the first time, Heath Ledger's ex-fiancee Michelle Williams has opened up about her life since the actor's death.
The 30-year-old actress, who never discussed her relationship, said that she 'understood' people's curiosity about how she has coped with his death, reports ABC News.
After he died, Williams said she was comforted by reading The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion, a book written about Didion's difficulty in letting go of her husband, John Gregory Dunne.
'It didn't seem unlikely to me that he could walk through a door, or could appear behind a bush,' she said. 'In some ways, I am just, I am sad to be moving further and further away from it,' she added.
Like Didion, who writes about how life can change in an instant, Williams said that she, 'got kind of obsessed with that for a while, [the] before and after'.
Despite the sorrow in her life, Williams is clearly mending and moving forward.
'If I could go back and tell myself at 15 that I would be allowed to make this kind of work and I would be in this kind of community, I wish I could tell that girl that everything was going to turn out okay in her work," she said. "It's strange, at every point I was like, 'that's enough for me' and then I'd get given a little bit more,' she added.

True Blood star goes nude
Image: Alexander SkarsgardTrue Blood star Alexander Skarsgard spent eight hours naked on set, according to his co-star.
While everyone involved with the show is pretty much tight-lipped about what to expect in season four, E! reports that show's creator Alan Ball will have Skarsgard stripping down again.
'He was once naked for about eight hours and he's completely comfortable with it,' the Daily Telegraph quoted Kristin Bauer, who plays Eric's devilish sidekick Pam, as saying.
'He's Swedish. My husband's band toured in Sweden and he said that just how it is. There's no puritanical background there.'
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine in September, Skarsgard commented on his attitude to being naked on set. Referring to the 'sock' used to cover actors modesty, he said: 'I don't want a sock around it, that feels ridiculous. If we're naked in the scene, then I'm naked. I've always been that way.'
