In an interesting first, actress Scarlett Johansson has done a photo shoot for W magazine camouflaged as movie stars from a bygone era, reports the Daily Mail.
The actress emulates stars like Buster Keaton and Sarah Bernhardt for the photoshoot that was fittingly a tribute to maverick filmmaker Woody Allen as Johansson happens to be one of his famous muses.
Shot by British fashion photographer Tim Walker, the pictorial was entitled Woody's Other Woman: A Study In Scarlett.
Scarlett appears in all-white clothes and embodies stars like German actress Marlene Dietrich and Italian actress Guilietta Masina, the wife and muse of famed director Frederico Fellini.
Kim Kardashian is engaged
Reality star Kim Kardashian is engaged to her boyfriend Kris Humphries after the basketball player popped the question last week.
It was a dream came true for the 30-year-old socialite when she walked into her Beverly Hills home on May 18. New Jersey Nets forward Humphries, her boyfriend of six months, was waiting in her bedroom on bended knee with four words written in red rose petals, 'Will you marry me?'
'I didn't expect this at all. I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now,' said Kardashian. Humphries popped the question with a custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond sparkler, reported People magazine.
'I just knew I wanted it to be big,' said Humphries, 26, who, with the help of Kardashian's mom Kris Jenner, planned an intimate family celebration later that evening. 'Kris really didn't want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he'd be fine if there were mini-horses there. Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical' said Kardashian.
Brad Pitt cleans up for Tree Of Life premiere

To his fans' relief, Fight Club actor Brad Pitt finally got rid of his unsightly beard which he first sported in early 2010, for his award-winning film Tree Of Life's premiere.
Accompanied by partner Angelina Jolie, the actor looked younger than his years and sent his fans into a wave of hysteria with his new look.
Now whether it's for fans or for personal reasons, we appreciate the effort and the end result!
America Ferrera shoots documentary in India
Ferrera visited a local school and met with officials at the New Light charity, who work to provide education and protection for women and children at high risk.
Kristof, who accompanied Ferrera, said, 'America met a terrific 10-year-old girl who has studied English with the help of New Light and wants to be a doctor. Most of the girls in the area get little or no education and follow their mothers into prostitution. America was terrific to work with on the (TV network) Pbs version of Half the Sky.
