Quite a few members from the ANR family have made their way to tinsel town. The latest to join the bandwagon is Sushanth, Akkineni Nageswara's grandson, Nagarjuna's nephew and Sumanth's cousin.

He made his debut last summer with Kalidasu starring Tamannaah. He is now ready with his second Telugu film Current opposite Sneha Ullal.

The trailer and the logo of the film was launched recently at the house of ANR and the grand old man and his wife participated in the function.

The film is said to be a youthful love story. The title Current is supposed to denote the electricity between the two lovers. It also stands for the present.

Current is produced by Chintalpudi Srinivasa Rao and Naga Susheela (Sushanth's mother and ANR's daughter) and directed by Surya Pratap who wields the megaphone for the first time. He has worked as an assistant under Ravi Babu and Sukumar.

Devisriprasad tunes the music, which has had a fair response by the audience so far.

Sushanth's debut film Kalidasu released in April last year was an average performer at the BO. He would be hoping for the film to do well.

Sneha Ullal whose first film Ullasanga Utsahanga had a decent run is paired with Sushanth for the first time. She did Nenu Meeku Telusu with Manoj and will be doing a film with Sharwanand.

Current hits the theatres on May 21.
