After Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Om Shanti Om is set to open in theatres in Japan.
Confirming the reports, director Farah Khan tweeted: 'Contrary 2 certain reports OSO releasing in Japan across approx 15 screens which is one of the biggest releases for an Indian film!'
She shared the Japanese poster of the film and added: 'Om shanti om in Japanese! Releasing 16th march!am all set 2 go 2 tokyo!sm1 tell me how xpensive is it there??'
Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, tweeted wishes for Farah and wrote: 'have fun at the OSO premiere in Japan Ma...Om and Shanti miss you! Love you!'
Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar has started an online campaign titled (Men Against Rape and Discrimination) to create awareness amongst men to encourage gender equality and respect towards women.
Farhan shared the logo of the campaign and tweeted: 'Change is inevitable. Be part of it. Spread the awareness of what it means to be a real #MARD. No restrictions on use of logo. Will be uploading a high res file soon. Please feel free to print and wear with pride.'
The actor also tweeted slogans: 'You are a real #MARD when women feel safe in your company or your presence. You are a real #MARD when you treat your daughter & son as equals. You are a real #MARD if you respectfully earn the love of a woman. You are a real #MARD if you respect her choice to say No.'
'Teach them at the age when self awareness begins that being a man involves compassion, gender sensitivity & respect for women. If you can teach Logarithms in school which btw I'm still to figure the use for... Why not teach social and gender awareness?' he added further.
