Chennai Express, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, had paid previews a day before its official release date, and reached the Rs 100 crore mark on Day Four.

Hrithik Roshan's superhero movie Krrish 3 took five days to cross the Rs 100 crore mark.
It made Rs 130 crore by the end of the first week.

Ek Tha Tiger/ Dabangg 2 (2012)
Ek Tha Tiger crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in a record six days, making it the fastest Hindi film to reach the new benchmark of success until then.
In fact, at the end of six days, it made Rs 120 crores at the box office.
Later that year, Salman Khan's other release of the year Dabangg 2 joined the list at six days as well.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) / Bodyguard (2011)
Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Hai Deewani crossed Rs 100 crores in seven days, as did Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer Bodyguard.

3 Idiots (2009)
Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots takes sixth spot with nine days.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, it also starred R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi, and is one of the biggest blockbusters in Hindi cinema.
Dabbang (2010)
Salman Khan features in the list yet again with his 2010 hit Dabangg. Dabangg, co-starring Sonakshi Sinha, made Rs 100 crores within 10 days of its release.

Hrithik Roshan's Agneepath released on a Wednesday and Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One released on a Thursday, so both films enjoyed a long weekend.
Both films reached the Rs 100 crore mark in 11 days.

Like Salman Khan, director Rohit Shetty is another hit-maker.
His film Golmaal 3 made Rs 100 crores at the box office in 14 days.
It starred Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor.
Ready, Don 2 (2011)
Salman Khan's Ready and Shah Rukh Khan's Don 2 earned Rs 100 crores in 15 days.
Bol Bachchan (2012)
Rohit Shetty's Bol Bachchan reached the success benchmark in 20 days.
The film starred Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan and Prachi Desai.
Singham (2011)
Singham is Ajay Devgn's third film in the Rs 100 crore list.
The film entered the club in 50 days.
