After entertaining television viewers in Bigg Boss 3, Claudia Ciesla is looking to grab some eyeballs through her maiden Kannada film, Private Number.

The German model plays the heroine's best friend in the film. "Director Anand Kumar's wife is my best friend and when I was offered the role I just took it up. We have commenced shooting in Bangalore and I am enjoying every bit of it. I heard a lot about the Kannada industry, after all it produces over 100 films every year and I am today very happy to be a part of this flourishing industry," she says.

In fact Claudia looks forward to doing more South Indian films. "Many of our Hindi films are inspired by South Indian films and this shows how universal in appeal they are. So I am open to doing films in the South," she adds.

Claudia has already acted in the Hindi film Karma. "I'm looking for more opportunities and meatier roles. As the Hindi film industry is going global, the requirement for foreign artistes is sure to go up. Hasn't Barbara Mori made it big?," she quips.

She also shares her dream of acting with her favourite actor. "One day I hope to act with Aamir Khan. Also I have met Sunil Shetty and Akshay Kumar on Bigg Boss and they gave me some acting tips. Salman Khan is also a great human being. I wish to share screen space with all of them."

And what about the link up with Pravesh?

"We are just good friends," she says and adds that as of now, her main focus is making it big in the Indian film industry. The film also stars Kannada lad Preetam, Miss India Niharika Singh and comedian Sharan.

The film is a thriller which revolves around how life changes for one of the protagonists after receiving a call from a private number.

"I initially planned to narrate this script to Akshay Kumar, but Preetham and producer Ganesh Shetty, who are also my close friends, insisted that we do the film in Kannada. This film is sure to provide Kannada audience with a new expereince. We are using two set up cameras. Music will also be different. Sonu Nigam has sung one of the songs," says Anand who has also directed Hindi films Jugaad and Delhi Heights.

He plans to make Private Number in Hindi as well. The star cast however will be different.
