They say third time's the charm.

Pop diva Britney Spears is ready to walk down the aisle for the third time, as she has agreed to marry her longtime boyfriend and former agent Jason Trawick.

Trawick, who has been in a relationship with the 30-year-old singer since May 2010, proposed to her recently.

Spears was previously married to backup dancer Kevin Federline for two years before the marriage ended in divorce. The singer's first marriage was with childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander that was annulled 55 hours later.

Latino hottie Jennifer Lopez ended her seven-year marriage to singer Marc Anthony this July. It was her third marriage.

Apart from highly-publicised relationships with actor Ben Affleck and hip hop mogul Sean Combs, she married Cuban-born waiter Ojani Noa in 1997 and her backup dancer Chris Judd in 2001.

Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson was married thrice too.

Anderson married her first husband drummer Tommy Lee in 1995 after knowing him for only 96 hours and had two sons with him.

Her second marriage was with singer Kid Rock in 2006 and third with Rick Soloman in 2007.

Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise may have settled in marital bliss with Katie Holmes now but the actor has two failed marriages behind him.

His first nuptials were with actress Mimi Rogers, six years his senior, in 1987 and second with Australian actress Nicole Kidman in 1990.

Cruise and Kidman were married for 11 years after which they went their separate ways in 2001.

Ghost actress Demi Moore's much-publicised marriage to Ashton Kutcher, who was 16 years her junior, ended this year following reports of the actor's infidelity.

Before this, Moore had married musician Freddie Moore at the age of 18 in 1980 but it lasted only five years.

She got hitched for the second time with actor Bruce Willis and had three daughters with him before calling it quits in 2005.

Actress Melanie Griffith has been married to Spanish actor Antonio Banderas since 1996.

She married her first husband, Miami Vice actor Don Johnson, for six months when she was still a teenager.

Her second marriage was to Cuban-American Scarface actor Steve Bauer that lasted six years, ending in 1987.

Troubled actor Charlie Sheen is another serial offender. He's been married thrice and has five kids.

The former Two And A Half Men star's first marriage with Donna Peele lasted a year, after which he married actress and former fashion model Denise Richards in 2002.

When that ended on a rather acromonious note -- Richards filed for divorce citing Sheen's drug abuse and emotional strain as reasons -- Sheen married actress and real estate agent Brooke Mueller in 2008.

The couple split this year.

British singer/songwriter Rod Stewart has lived an eventful life.

He's fathered eight children from five women and has been hitched thrice.

His first was with Alana Hamilton that ended after five years in 1984 and second with model Rachel Hunter that lasted 16 years.

He's presently married to English model and photographer Penny Lancaster-Stewart.

Academy-award winning actor/director Nicolas Cage's first marriage was with actress Patricia Arquette that ended in 2001.

He later married Elvis Presley's daughter and Michael Jackson's ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley in 2002 but the couple split just after two years of marriage. The divorce proceeding was reportedly longer than the marriage.

Sanjay Dutt's first wife was Indian-American Richa Sharma, who came to India to debut in Dev Anand's film Hum Naujawan. She stayed back after she got hitched. In 1996, she died of brain tumour.

Dutt's second wife was model Rhea Pillai but that marriage crumbled under the pressure of the actor's TADA case when the couple split in 2005.

Dutt is presently married to Maanyata Dutt and has twins -- Shahran and Iqra.
