Bollywood enjoys Monsoon's first shower

Music and dance are a staple theme in Bollywood. So when Mumbai was struck with its first shower of the season, stars couldn't help but tweet expressing joy.

Sonam Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan tweeted: 'And the heavens open up over Mumbai ......... FINALLY!'

Meanwhile, Dia Mirza had fun getting drenched. 'Yay! Yay! Yay! Ran out into the rain! Back in the office looking like a drowned rat ;)' she updated.

Ayesha Takia tweeted: 'Oh I love the smell outside when it rains,,the wet mud n breeze!!'

Vivek Oberoi enjoyed the showers with his wife. 'First rains...super romantic!!! Rushing home to share it with wifey :)' he tweeted.

Arshad Warsi preferred to stay indoors and dry. 'love the rains especially when i am indoors, looking at it with a cup of coffee in my hand... spent the day with the DD team-awesome guys,' he wrote.

 

Wishes for Sania ahead of French Open final

Dabangg stars Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha wished Sania Mirza good luck as the tennis star braces to participate in the French Open's Women's Doubles final.

While Salman tweeted a shoutout, "Sania best of luck , kill em , phard do , chun chun ke marna , gin gin ke badle lena", Sonakshi could barely contain her excitement as she tweeted, "Good luck @MirzaSania! French Open womens doubles FINALS! How exciting :D".

Gurinder Chaddha next titled Partition is based on Indo-Pakistan partition.

She tweeted, "cant believe its been 5 months since i tweeted, been busy writing my new film on Partition. Is it still worth tweeting? anybody listening? I'm eating fresh strawberries from the garden for breakfast. i love gardening have peas corn bak choi plums apples cherries and more growing. I'm happy you are all listening still : )) Partition is a tough subject. i wanted to do something positive not just re create the horrors :((' she tweeted.

'Like many others I lost aunts at that time But i feel i was born to make a movie that shows what really happened and why. in human GC style. am working on a follow up of BILB but for the stage!' she added later.

The team of I Hate Luv Storys supports Delhi Belly. Well, at least according to Karan Johar. He posted a picture (left) of Sonam Kapoor, Imran Khan and Punit Malhotra and tweeted, "IHLS in full support of DELHI BELLY!!!"

Sonam Kapoor, who's most excited about Delhi Belly also  tweeted: 'Delhi Belly rocks!'

Karan Johar played the papparazzi as he clicked Imran Khan with Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora and Malaika Khan Arora too. All these celebs were present at the success party of the song DK Bose from Delhi Belly.

Ram Gopal Varma took the news of age limit for drinking with a pinch of salt. He quipped that people who decided to push the age limit to 25 want all the alcohol for themselves.

'Shud raise the minimum voting age to 25.if a guy blw 25 is too ignorant 2 decide whethr its ok 2 hv a drink thn hw cn he knw who 2 vote fr? Am sure the decision makers of not to drink till 25 obviously will be above 25 so that they can still go ahead nd drink all they want,' he tweeted.
