The 64th Cannes Film Festival that concluded this Sunday lived upto its prestigious and glossy reputation as celebs turned out in their finest and rubbed shoulders with cinematic greats from other countries.
Here's a look at this year's winners -- on the red carpet and off it too.
Best Actress- Kirsten Dunst (Melancholia)
Dunst chose a beautiful white Chanel Haute Couture dress from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection. She accessorized with Chanel jewels and vintage Valentino shoes.
The Brad Pitt-starrer won the topmost honour and the prize was recieved by the producers -- Bill Pohlad and Dede Gardner of the film as its camera shy director Terrence Mallick stayed away from most of the public events at Cannes.
French actress and filmmaker Miwanne bagged the jury prize for her film Polisse at the awards.
She was quite a sight in her red gown-like dress and clunky heels.
French actress Melanie Laurent, who was a part of Inglourious Basterds' ensemble cast, was the Master of Ceremony for the event and hosted the opening as well as the closing ceremony.
She looked breathtaking in her nude-coloured gown as she walked down the stage.
Actress Roberta Armani arrived for amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS 2011 event in Antibes in this blue gown textured as scales, or so it seems.
And that would be Keira Chaplin, Charlie Chaplin's actress daughter. She arrived in this awesome white dress with a thigh-high slit.
A Chaplin girl and a sharp dresser to boot!
Celebs could take a tip or two from this statuesque beauty. The spunky Uma Thurman packed a punch with every single appearance.
Here she oozes sex appeal despite being covered in a gorgeous hue of blue for the closing ceremony.
