It's been a day since Dev Anand's untimely demise, but Bollywood stars, like the legend's fans all over, can't get over the news. Condolence tweets kept pouring in throughout the day.

Boman Irani shared a picture of Dev Anand that he had clicked on the sets of Mr. Prime Minister. 'A photograph I had taken of the legend on the sets of "Mr Prime Minister"' he wrote with the picture.

Priyanka Chopra tweeted: 'The last thing he told me was"tum humare zamane mein actress kyon nahi thi.."His charm, his energy and his zest for life..u taught us to live. Thank you Dev sahib... For being u and leaving us with ur incredible legacy...u shall be missed... RIP..'

Arbaaz Khan wrote: 'Dev saab will be missed by us all. He was somebody who truly defined the spirit of life and one who lived life to the fullest. RIP Dev saab.'

Karan Johar recalled the time when his father worked with him. 'My father worked with devsaab for over 10 years. I grew up hearing about the sheer magic of DEV ANAND..RIP sir! Salute,Reverence and Respect. The industry just lost its sheen...the films just lost its charm...DEV ANAND epitomised all things celluloid give us..' he wrote.

Preity Zinta tweeted: 'Woke up to the sad News of Dev Saheb's demise ! May God give peace to his soul ! He inspired us all by living his life 2 the fullest . R.I.P.'

Ameesha Patel wrote: 'Sad news about dev anand sahab passing away.was v close to my grandfather n v close 2 r family. May he rest in peace.'

Hema Malini wrote rather a heartfelt anecdote. 'A humongous loss for the industry and and a great loss for me, personally, as I have worked with Dev Saab in so many films. The name Dev Saab only reminds one that age is just a number and that cinema is life. No one word can describe this enigmatic personality who had his unique style of dressing, a livewire who charged all people around with his energy and life-state. Not a moment have I seen him sitting in a relaxed manner on the sets, but constantly creating, planning and discussing films and the shoot ahead. We have lost a wonderful, joyful, youthful, charming and a passionate star in Dev Saab. Even the phrase Rest in Peace does not apply to him, though this is what I pray for him. I can still imagine, at this very moment, somewhere up there, Dev Saab planning his next passionate venture..' she wrote.

Preity Zinta has accused National award-winning director Jahnu Barua of borrowing money from her for his film Har Pall starring Preity and Shiney Ahuja and has been avoiding her ever since.

Rubbishing the rumours about promoting the film, she tweeted: 'Just saw an article in DnA stating that I don't have time to promote my movie HAR PAL ! Absolutely false and baseless piece of News ! Wish journos wud call u & ask 4 a comment as opposed to listening to a SOURCE who does not exist. I don't appreciate being part of someone's views !! The truth is that the Producer of Har Pal borrowed money from me & now refuses to even take my calls. So now he is avoiding me ! So him asking me for Dates & me refusing is a totally baseless story ! Hope DnA is listening cuz we pay for a NEWS paper not a VIEWS paper !'

Meanwhile, Preity has signed award-winning French actress Isabelle Adjani for her home production, Ishkq in Paris, directed by Prem Raj. 'On a happier note I am so happy 2 have Isabella Adjani in ISHKQ IN PARIS ! She is beautiful & a dream come true ! I cannot stop grinning :-)' she added.
