Shah Rukh meets Rajnikanth in Chennai

After Tamil superstar Rajnikanth shot for his part in Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One, the latter paid a visit to Chennai to launch the Tamil version of the film's music.

The two superstars met up, along with Rajni's daughter Soundarya.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan turned 69 today. On the occasion, stars showered their love and wishes upon him.

Hema Malini tweeted: 'Wishing Amitji lots of Happiness,Health,Joy & Celebrations on his Birthday.'

Priyanka Chopra, Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh, Preity Zinta and Celina Jaitly were among the others who tweeted their wishes to the actor.

Meanwhile, the Big B turned retrospective at the stroke of midnight on his birthday.

'Have just been released from the clutches of work from KBC .. and here to thank you all for the love and affection you shower !! One of the best ways to bring in birthdays is to be working at what you need to be working on .. I work because I need to .. love !!' he tweeted.

He said that his only wish is to pass each day in peace. 'It is past midnight ! It is my birthday today ! It is another year gone by ! It is stepping in to the 70th year for me ! Thank you ! They ask me what I wish for my birthday .. why only on the birthday, it should be everyday .. I wish another day to pass in peace !' he added.

Sameera Reddy is busy shooting for OK! magazine and loving it.

Meanwhile, leading lady Vidya Balan is apparently sick and had to be hospitalised due to her tiring shoots.
